Eric Lippert (Information Technology Director, Lombard International Assurance S.A.) has been named "CIO of the Year 2013" by CIONET Luxembourg. Lippert was recognised for his role in the implementation of
XENTIS as a central system platform for ensuring service excellence for partners and customers.

The joint introduction of XENTIS by Lombard International Assurance S.A. and Profidata took place as part of an extensive transformation project within the targeted time frame of 12 months and without exceeding the budget. The use of XENTIS has not only replaced 13 other applications, but also reduced the number of interfaces from 239 to 94. In addition, Lombard International Assurance S.A. was able to increase the level of automation for the processing of 17,000 funds managed in XENTIS by more than 80% through complete SWIFT straight-through processing. The flexibly adaptable structures of XENTIS meet Lombard International Assurance S.A.'s requirements for a service-oriented architecture.
