On 19 March 2026, we successfully hosted our first Profidata IC Symposium in Frankfurt. Numerous clients and partners accepted our invitation and took the opportunity to exchange views on current developments and gain valuable insights for their day-to-day practice. One key takeaway became particularly clear: the future of investment compliance lies in the intelligent combination of regulatory expertise, high-quality data and integrated system landscapes.

“Investment compliance is increasingly becoming a strategic success factor. Today, our clients expect solutions that not only meet regulatory requirements but also deliver tangible process improvements and remain scalable over the long term,” explains Jessica Hubschmid, Head of Consulting Switzerland at Profidata. In her presentation, she demonstrated impressively how investment breaches can be sustainably reduced through targeted improvements in data quality. The live demonstration of Profidata’s IC Services clearly showed how these approaches can be implemented in a practical and efficient way.

Further expert contributions highlighted the breadth and depth of current developments: Matthias Meinert from Deloitte Legal explored ongoing discussions around UCITS eligible assets and recent ESMA proposals, emphasising the growing importance of look-through approaches for indirect investments. Oliver Stör, Senior Consultant at Profidata, provided context on regulatory developments and illustrated their practical implications for daily operations. In addition, Marc Widmer (Group CEO) and Tomasz Luka (Senior Software Consultant) shared new insights into the ongoing development of the IC Competence Centre and the strategic direction of investment compliance.

Beyond the expert content, it was above all the unique atmosphere that defined the IC Symposium. The personal exchange, conversations between sessions and the opportunity to connect face-to-face once again highlighted the true value of meaningful interaction. “This is exactly where new ideas emerge, valuable impulses are generated and concrete solutions to our clients’ challenges take shape,” emphasises Jessica Hubschmid. The intensive dialogue with participants clearly confirmed that topics such as data quality, automation and transparency will continue to gain importance. At the same time, the demand for platforms like XENTIS Compliance & Risk Management is increasing – solutions that address these requirements holistically and integrate seamlessly into existing system landscapes.

The combination of regulatory expertise, technological excellence and operational experience is what ultimately makes the difference. With the IC Symposium, Profidata has deliberately created a new format that fosters and continuously develops the ongoing dialogue around investment compliance.
